Wildlife Conservation Project - Planting 500 Chokecherry and 250 Wild Plum Seedlings
Alexander Mountain Fire Area
April 19, 2025
Thanks to many sponsors from the general public, we'll be planting 500 chokecherry and 250 wild plum seedlings at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch on Saturday, April 19. We welcome additional volunteers, around ten at this point, to help plant, ferry seedlings and water.
We also welcome borrowing the following:
20 narrow spade shovels
10 "clean" five gallon buckets
10 water containers around 2.5 gallons in size, to water seedlings after they are planted.
Please use the Contact form if you'd like to help as a volunteer and if you have any of these items we can borrow that day. Subscribe if you'd like to be notified about wildlife conservation projects in the future.
Thank you!
